Boney M song "Night Flight To Venus" and "Rasputin" was inspiration for many film makers and music directors in India. The signature drum beat in both songs were used in several songs. In "Rasputin", the drum beat is at 0:02 - 0:12. In the song "Nightflight To Venus", the drum beat is at 0:37 - 2:05. The original source of inspiration for that drum beat was from Cozy Powell song "Dance With The Devil". The inspired drum beat is at 0:11- 0:57. Bappi Lahiri had earlier sampled the opening drum beat (different from Rasputin) from "Dance With The Devil" at 0:00-0:10, for his song "Mere Jaan", in the movie Dahshat. Mark Edwards did a cover version of Cozy Powell's "Dance With The Devil". Gilles David Orchestra and Hysteric Ego song "Want Love" also sampled the same drum beat used by Boney M. Gazuzu song "Drums On Fire" (Original) also took inspiration from that same beat used by Boney M (Cozy Powell), Frank Valdor also did a cover version of "Dance With The Devil" in the album Rock Festival. The famous drum pattern was first featured in India in the film soundtrack "Sansani -The Sensation" (1981). Hemant Bhosle sampled Boney M's "Night Flight To Venus" for the song "Sansani Khez Kou Baat Hain" for the film. The beat occurs at 0:27 in the song. But Sansani was delayed and released a few years later. The next time we heard the original song "Night Flight To Venus", was in the movie, Dil Akhir Dil Hain. It is the drum beat in the intro of song . The song "Nightflight To Venus"plays when Naseeruddin Shah is learning how to disco dance with Parveen Babi in the nightclub. In a sequence in the movie Kaun Kaisey, when Prem Kishen harasses his ex girlfriend in a night club, "Night Flight To Venus" plays. . Rasputin's intro drum beat was also sampled for the song "Jawani Jawani Jalti Jawani" in the movie Jaani Dost. It plays in the part where Silk Smita starts dancing in the song. That part of the music ( signature drum beat) was not included in the film's audio songs released. It was recorded just for the film. Boney M song "Rasputin" plays in a car scene in the film Akalmand. When a little girl listens to music on the car stereo. Boney M "Rasputin" drum beat again was used in a song. The intro music for "Noor Jahan Tu Kahan" from Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani. The music plays as the dancers start to dance. But the intro music was only in the film and not included in the film's audio songs released. In the song "Naka Bandi" from the movie Naka Bandi, the inspired drum beat is at 0:04. In the song "Main Aisi Cheez Nahi "(Full 8:45 minute version) from Khuda Gawah, the same inspired drum beat is at 0:02 - 0:32. Other versions of "Rasputin" (Minus the intro drum beat) include Hemant Bhosle sampling of Boney M's "Rasputin" for the song "Mausam Hai Rangeen" from Sun Meri Laila. This time Rasputin's song was sampled but not the drum beat. The interlude of the song also used the tune of the theme of the western film "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966) composed by Ennio Morricone. Bengali song "Shukno Patar Nupur Paye", Madhosh song "Main Hoon Champion", "Sachi Yeh Kahani Hain" from Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, "I'll Do The Talking Tonight" from Agent Vinod. instrumental hindi movie songs 2012

All sorts. For writing, nothing that gets in the way of thinking. Nothing with intrusive lyrics, usually things I've heard many times before, or just movie soundtracks, because that's what soundtracks were created to do, to make backing sounds that complement rather than obscure the visuals. My favourite is alternative rock. Anything with instruments; I can't stand the lack of instrumentality in most modern pop music. But I'll listen to anything instrumental, jazz, classical (western or Indian), whatever. 2ff7e9595c
